Learn a song to sing onstage with Monique Clare in this pop-up choir workshop! We’ll start with vocal warm ups, work on confidently holding two or three harmony parts, learn how to blend as a group and put our brand new choir to the test in front of an audience. Monique has been running community music workshops for over ten years, and was raised by a family of choir conductors. She lives and breathes harmony singing and loves working with groups to experience the joy of singing together.

Wielding a cello, powerhouse vocals and magnetic onstage energy, Monique Clare is a multi award-winning songwriter who’s deeply personal storytelling and arresting authenticity has elicited cathartic tears and laughter from audiences around the world. Her intrepid career has ranged from teaching music in war-torn Afghanistan to playing cello with Eminem to a crowd of 80,000 people, touring her acclaimed album ‘Sight’ to festivals across Europe and leading hikers up mountainsides for sunrise concerts. With an innovative style that shatters preconceptions of cello playing, a disarmingly candid stage presence and a smile as wide as the Cheshire cat’s, her live show is offbeat and impactful.

Featured on the ABC Radio National Music Show, her 2022 debut album ‘Sight’ took out contemporary album and song of the year at the Australian Folk Music Awards and Queensland Music Awards respectively. Indie-folk songstress, Isabel Rumble, crafts intimate, earth-rooted songs that speak directly to the heart.

Hailing from a walnut farm in the southern valleys of NSW, Australia, her music draws on the folk-music-rich community that nurtured her earliest musical endeavours. She weaves warm acoustic textures, poetic storytelling, and a “voice like honey” (ABC Country) to create listening spaces that captivate and heal.

October 2025 saw the release of Isabel’s second full-length album, Hold Everything Lightly, followed by a nationwide Australian tour. The album has had extensive national radio play, online features, and been warmly received across the country in intimate candlelit listening rooms and iconic full-band venues alike.

Isabel’s Folk Alliance Australia–nominated debut album Bird Be Brave (2023) and 2024 Water Wings EP led to tours across Australia, Europe, and the UK, and major festivals including Port Fairy Folk Festival. She has performed in unique spaces around the world from house concerts in India to mountaintop venues in the Austrian Alps.

Making exciting theatre with something to say; Switch on Drama helps inspire confidence, encourage communication, stimulate opinions, and teach imaginative ways of presenting ideas. 

We are working in association with Switch on Drama to provide a weekly theatre workshop for children and young people. ]]> Switch on Drama is fun, builds friendships and enables young people to connect as a creative team. Sessions are led by Sky Burton-Smith, a qualified teacher with 15 years’ experience of delivering performing arts in schools and communities. Sky is passionate about using the arts to empower young people and support them in exploring new skills and ideas, unleashing imagination, and engaging them with the world and their future.

Sessions are currently held on a Thursday in 6 week half-termly blocks.

Mini Switch – 5 to 8 years 4.00-5.00pm (drop off from 3.30pm drink and snack available to de-school!) – £6.00 per session

Mix Switch – 8 to 12 years 5.00pm-6.15pm – £7.00 per session

Master Switch – 12-15 years 6.30-8.00pm – £8.00 per session
