A friendly community of wool and fibre crafters
Every Tuesday | 7pm–9pm | £3.50 per session
Fibre Tribe is a welcoming, informal weekly gathering for anyone who enjoys working with wool, yarn and textiles. Whether you’re an experienced crafter or just starting out, it’s a chance to share your love of making, learn new skills and connect with like-minded people.
Our sessions celebrate a wide range of fibre crafts, including knitting, crochet, spinning, felting and weaving. Bring along your current project, share what you’ve been working on, exchange ideas and find inspiration from others.
Fibre Tribe is also a place to ask questions, solve crafting problems and learn from one another. Whether you’re struggling with a tricky pattern, keen to try a new technique or simply looking for some creative inspiration, there’s always someone happy to help.
The group also gets involved in collaborative creative projects, including yarn bombing – transforming everyday spaces and objects with colourful knitted and crocheted creations. These projects provide opportunities to work together, share skills and bring a little extra colour and creativity into the local community.
Above all, Fibre Tribe is about friendship, creativity and the enjoyment of making things together. All abilities are welcome, and there’s no need to be an expert to join in!
Simply bring your current project and any materials you may need.
