Bringing crafters together to share skills, projects and a love of yarn
Third Thursday of each month, 7.30pm–9.30pm | The Watershed, Slaithwaite | £3.50 members / £6.50 non-members | Open to everyone
The Huddersfield branch of the Knitting & Crochet Guild meets monthly at The Watershed, welcoming members and non-members to enjoy an evening of woolly creativity and good company.
Each session includes a wool craft skills workshop, giving you the chance to learn new techniques, share your projects and meet like-minded crafters. Refreshments are available, and all abilities are welcome.
The Guild also cares for a fascinating collection at Britannia Mill in Slaithwaite, containing thousands of knitted and crocheted garments, books, publications, tools, gadgets, shade cards and yarns.
Visits can be arranged for individuals and groups. The volunteer team meets at the Collection on Tuesdays, and new volunteers are welcome. Please email ahead to check if the team will be there. Open days are advertised on the Guild website.
